We constantly strive to feature great activities for companies looking to invest in their culture. You’re able to tailor Pitaya Experiences by adjust elements like menu, event length, and location. Want to build your own experience? Contact customer success and a Pitaya Account Manager can help you create an event. Planning and customization fees will apply.

  • How does Pitaya make money?

The Pitaya Activities on our marketplace are offered at market value. Our experience partners pay a referral fee in return for receiving a match + booking with our excellent customers. If you’re building your own event with the help of a Pitaya Account Manager, planning and customization fees will apply

Booking Your Activity

  • How do I book an event?

Once you choose an event, select your date, time and group size, then click “checkout.” Within 24 hours you will receive a confirmation from us regarding the provider availability. You’ll then create or sign in to your Pitaya account where you’ll fill in your billing and payment information, then confirm your order to complete the purchase.

  • How far in advance do I have to book an event?

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to allow time for securing a provider and inviting guests. You can also book any last minute events, based on availability.

  • I found an event I like, but it doesn’t cover all my needs. Can I make adjustments?

We strive to plan the optimal experience, and offer a broad range of events and providers. After selecting a Pitaya Activity, you can make adjustments to elements like the menu, event length, and topics using our booking form.  Communicating persona type, food allergies, or dietary restrictions can be handled through our customer support team. If you’d like to build your own experience, contact us and a Pitaya Account Manager can help you create an event with our Pitaya partners. Planning and customization fees will apply.

  • I purchased an activity now what?

If you payed with a credit card, we will email you a receipt. For all payment details, please see the payments section of our site.

  • Is there a maximum or minimum headcount for events?

The maximum and minimum numbers vary for each activity. You can find these listed on the event details page. You can also search by headcount in your city.

  • Can I change the date of my event after it has been booked?

You can request to change the date of your event, by emailing us, and we will try to reschedule with the vendor.  However, there is a time limit and cancellation fee depending on vendor and timeframe.

  • What if I need to change my headcount after I book my event?

Headcounts can be increased up until 8 days prior to your event. Email xxx@pitaya.work or click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of our site to see if the venue can accommodate more people. You will be billed for the additional guests once final headcount is confirmed.

  • What headcount should I book for if I don’t know exactly how many guests to put?

You should book for the amount of people that you know will be attending. You are responsible to pay for this minimum amount.

  • Will there be a Pitaya representative on site at my event?

No, it is not necessary as we have worked with our venues extensively and repeatedly to ensure consistent, high-quality execution of our activities.



  • Why would I want to be featured on your site?

Pitaya connects vendors with hi-tech corporate groups looking to book activities and experiences Sunday through Thursday daytime and evenings, filling your calendar/ space during non-peak hours. You will also get exposure through Pitaya’s marketing channels if you become a verified Pitaya vendor.
