Vetting our providers

Pitaya’s team does due diligence on every provider in our network. We make sure we’re working with the best- and only the best. This “vetting” process includes 1:1 meetings, experiencing the activity or workshop in a live scenario, and inspecting products before the reach the Pitaya site.

Pitaya displays market pricing for our products, and we do not add additional commissions or fees for booking. Our business model comes the marketing channel we agree upon with our vendors. So for corporates, it’s free to book!

Meet Our Founders

Rachel Brender-Ziv: Founder

After nearly a decade in the SaaS B2B industry, Rachel has improved business productivity in corporate and enterprise companies around the globe.

She has a B.A. degree in politics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and prior to Pitaya, she was a technical strategist at Microsoft. Rachel focuses on holistic approaches to lifestyle and business- which is what seeded the concept of Pitaya and what motivates her today. Fun Fact: Rachel meditates daily and has a black belt in karate.

Alexis Ostrobrod: Founder

As a former VP of product direction for a multinational retail company, Alexis has a keen eye for product design and pipeline execution. Alexis holds a BA in design from Shenkar College, and an MBA from Kellogg Business School. With her eye for detail and design, Alexis is passionate about conveying value to Pitaya’s customers through beautiful and simple design. She’s experienced in operational management and hands-on event planning.

Originally from Russia, Alexis was raised in Tel Aviv where she lives today. Fun Fact: Alexis has a green thumb in her garden and she is a classically trained ballerina.
